Still addicted to writing; I’m just writing elsewhere
Yes, I’m still writing I took a break, although much longer break than I had anticipated, from my personal blogs. Since that time I’ve picked up a few more freelance writing positions and now have two employees for my regular business this, of course, gives me even more time to write. I should be back posting on addicted to writing very soon.
My latest job which I snagged this past weekend is working for another technology website. The website didn’t advertise that they were looking for writers, but I applied anyway. It’s a website that I read often, I love technology remember, and I knew I would do well if given the position.
Thus far, I’m the only female writer writing for the Mac website. I know there are other women that love technology as much as I do. It would be nice to see more of them writing for the websites. In some ways, it’s like my real world jobs. In a lot of cases I was the only female, or one of the few, in the tech department.

So glad to see you back, Opal! I’ve wondered what happened to you. Been missing you, girl! Glad you’re still addicted.
Congrats on getting the job writing for the Mac site. Bravo for applying even though they weren’t actively seeking writers. Way to go!

Michele,
Thanks, although I wasn’t planning to be away for so long it was a great break.
I’m glad you enjoyed a nice, long break, but I’m glad you’re back! The cyber highway isn’t the same without you!
