Freelance Writing: A Much Needed Break
I’ve always enjoyed writing. In the corporate setting my job involved a lot of writing mainly technical writing, web content, and reports. It’s something I truly enjoy. I know that is one of the reasons I started blogging about three years ago. I’m addicted to writing. Also, blogging gave me the opportunity to write and with some of my websites I’m using an instructive voice. I enjoy that immensely.
About three weeks, ago I acquired a freelance writing job which I truly enjoy. Its freelance ghost writing. I write about nutrition, what I truly love, and the work is steady six articles weekly for a decent salary. I’m also a business owner my work, the past few weeks, has been challenging.
This holiday I decided to take a mini break from my workload. I picked the correct time the articles I’m writing about this week are “easy” simply so I’ll be knocking them out tomorrow. It’s important for me to keep my clients informed with what is happening so keeping them in the loop is a smart decision.
I really haven’t taken a three-day break from all my work, but I have eased up on my business, freelance writing, and have spent time hanging with my daughter over the Christmas holiday. I’ve enjoyed this immensely. Tomorrow it will be back to business as usual.
