Do you write daily?

It’s something I hear authors who write about writing ask often. Yeah, I would have to say that I write almost daily. Besides being a technical writer I have my own personal websites that I write for. I’m addicted to writing after all. I’m perfectly fine with my addiction to writing and I admit I thoroughly enjoy it. Writing is a great way to work out my thoughts and I usually don’t mind sharing those thoughts with the world, in fact, on my larger websites it’s always nice to get feedback from those who are reading what I write.

I used to write everyday, and I didn’t mind. That way, I could focus time on creative writing and maintaining my personal blog But, I have a way of loosing balance and doing too much. I had to cut back when I started noticing the signs of carpal tunnel and eye strain. Now, I take weekends off (including Fridays).

@Valencia - It’s all about finding the perfect balance, right? There are some days I don’t write as much as others; in fact, some of those days I don’t publish what I write.

For myself, it’s like exercise. I cannot imagine a day going by without doing some type of exercise I feel the same way about writing.
